    In a deck there a 52 cards with 4 suits(hearts,spades,diamonds and clovers). 2 suits are red while the other 2 are black. And there are 4 cards for each number.(ace,jack.queen etc.)And remember an ace isnt considered a face card.

    1) there are 2 red kings in any given deck so probability is 2/52=1/26

    2)since there are 4 cards of each

    you multiply 4*3=12

    probability is 12/52=3/13

    3)I have no idea what a fade is.

    4)Remember that there are 4 suits? Each suit has 13 cards.

    So as there are 2 suits probability is 13*2/52=26/52=1/2

    5)There are 26 black cards,and they contain 6 face cards. And there are 26 red cards which contain only 2 red aces. so add both 8/52=2/13

    6)In a deck there are 12 face cards (king, queen, and jack) and 13 cards of spades

    3 face cards are already in spades so subtract 3.

    (9+13)/52=22/52=11/26

    The easiest way to do this is to figure out the true statement and subtract that result from 1.

    There are 13 spades and 3 other kings.

    13/52 + 3/52 = 16/52 = 4/13

    1 - 4/13 = 9/13

    So you have a 9 out of 13 chance of drawing neither a spade of a king.

    3) spade??? There are 13 spades, and 4 kings (one of which is a spade): there are 13 + 3 = 16 cards which are spades or kings: 1 - 16/52 = 1 - 4/13 = 9/13

    4) there are 13 hearts and 13 diamonds: 26/52 = 1/2

    5) There are 4 face cards (jack, queen, king, ace), so there are 2 * 4 = 8 black face cards, also there are 2 red aces (diamond and hearts): 8 + 2 = 10 --> 10/52 = 5/26

    6) There are 4 face cards (see above) times 4 suits = 16 face cards. There are 13 spades, but FOUR of them are ALSO face cards, so there are 13 + 12 = 25 face cards or spades: 25/52

    Edit:

    It depends on what a face card is. If a "face card" means only jack, queen, king, then what I said above is wrong. Generally though, I consider an Ace to be a "face card" (when it comes to mathematicians that is probably not correct).

    Assuming that Ace isn't a face card, then:

    5) 3 face cards (jack, queen, king) times 2 black suits or the two red aces (either ace of hearts of ace of diamonds): 3 * 2 + 2 = 8: 8/52 = 2/13

    6) 3 * 4 = 12 face cards, 3 of which are one of the 13 spades: 9 + 13 = 22: 22/52 = 11/26

    Probability of an event = Number of favourable outcomes/Total number of outcomes

    1) P(drawing a red king) = 2/52

    because out of 4 king cards 2 are red and 2 are black

    2) P(drawing a jack or a queen or an ace) = P(drawing a jack + P(drawing a queen) + P(drawing an ace)

    = 4/52 + 4/52 + 4/52

    = 12/52

    3) What is a fade ???? does it mean a face card???

    4) P(drawing a heart or a diamond) = P(drawing a heart) + P(drawing a diamond)

    = 13/52 + 13/52

    = 26/52

    P=desired outcomes/total outcomes

    For these questions all of the total outcomes will be 52

    There are 2 red kings (2/52 or 1/26)

    There are 4 of each type (12/52 or 3/13)

    Not sure what a fade is but the probability of something NOT happening is 1- the probability of it happening

    there are 13 of each (26/52 or 1/2)

    there are 6 black face cards and 2 red aces (8/52 or 2/13)

    there are 13 spades and 9 other face cards (NOTE: do not double count the spade face cards) (22/52 or 11/26)

    The are 4 aces in a regular deck of fifty two enjoying playing cards. So on a single draw (if the deck is full) you could have a 4 in 52 chance of pulling an ace, which reduces to 1 in thirteen. Abstract: 1 in 13 (or 4 in fifty two) which is a 7.6923% chance.
