I've just gave Etta James Greatest Hits CD a listen to and thoroughly enjoyed it, are they any similar artists or artists from the same time?

I love Etta James! If you really enjoyed her I highly recommend you check out singer Bettye LaVette. Shes a soul and blues singer that started back in the early 60s and she has recently had a huge resurgence!
