Does anyone else think Manti Teo is the next Ray Lewis?

i for one find it a concidence that as soon as Ray Lewis retires that guy that people have compared him to Leadership wise is Manti Teo. Now im not saying hes going to be as great as him skills wise. but i think he will make a difference on any team hes get drafted. he definetely has the fiery leadership qualities that ray has. and people that bag on him for that incident earlier this year. Get over it hes young and everyone makes mistakes and last time i checked Ray was in a far worse incident early in his career. But what do you guys think?

Manti has the potential to be one of the best linebackers ever, his big build and foot speed (although he ran a slow 40 yard dash time at the combine) is ideal for any defensive player now-a-days. He is a similar player to Ray Lewis except he is a little smaller. His incident may effect his draft position a little bit but he still will be a big factor.

As short as this text is, it contradicts itself. Mel Kiper feels that the gf hoax won't influence Manti's draft cost. It additionally says BAL ought to draft him...with what, the thirty second average %.? It does not say something relating to the opportunity of BAL paying for and merchandising up.

It depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Manti Te'o works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of becoming an elite NFL linebacker in the future, just like Ray Lewis.

nobody thought ray lewis was going to be one of if not the best ILB to ever play the game coming out of college, if they did, he would have gone #1 and not #26
