Buying my first car on my own advice?

Im 19 and about 2 take my drivers test. once i get my licence i plan on getting a used car. i have 1800 and the car i want is 1900. i viewed the car fax report its got a clean title, one owner. 1700 miles and up to date tags. its a 1993 nessan. it looks brand new. what are some questions to ask the dealer while im taking it on the test drive. its just listed so in like 2 weeks its gonna be sold.

Also please don't say "wait and save up to buy a better car" or "i personally wouldn't buy a car under 5 grand" ect :( if i could i would but i cant ;)

have the car checked out by a mechanic before you buy

I agree. A mechanic is a good idea. If the dealer refuses to let you have the car looked over by a mechanic, just walk away. Better to save the money than to buy something that turns out to be cr@p.

    Good luck :)
