I just got a job at McDonald's and my Orientation is set for this Tuesday.
Today my Band teacher called McDonalds to tell them I wasn't going in, that I had practice instead.
I didn't ask him to do that, or want him to do that. I was going to miss practice to go to Orientation.
Is there some kind of law that forbids a teacher intervention in a student's place of employment?

The laws are more involved in preventing employers from interfering with the student's education.
This does sound like overstepping a bit on the band director's part. If you are normally able to work out your work schedule around band practices, then the director could have cut you a little slack on going to the orientation. I think you're going to have to get your parents involved in this one- if they're ok with you working, they need to let the band director know that.
