If a center fielder catches a fly ball 300 feet directly in front of home plate?

how long must his throw be (in feet) to 3rd in order to try and throw out the runner tagging up?

Update:

Does trying to make fun of someone with anxiety issues make yourself feel better? You're scum.

    Draw a triangle going from home to center to third and back to home and use the law of cosines.

    a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2*b*c*cos(A)

    a^2 = 300^2 + 90^2 - 2*300*90*cos(45)

    a = 209 ft.
