Who has deeper pockets, the NRA or those who support sensible gun regulations?

The NRA is backed by the Koch brothers and almost every major arms and ammo manufacturer.

People who support gun sensible gun legislation are just individuals.

So who enjoys more economic support?

Update:

@ Dennis - We do have sensible limits on free speech. You can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater. You can't slander somebody. You can't advocate the violent overthrow of the government.

We also have sensible limits on slavery. Your freedom can only be restricted if you break the law - not simply because of your skin color.

Since the NRA itself gets a dollar for every gun sale and ammo sale in pretty much all the established shops in America, I'll go for the NRA. And the more they can scare people into believing "they're coming to take your guns!", the more money they have to scare people with.

'Your freedom can only be restricted if you break the law'

And this is exactly law abiding gun owners think.

Why increase laws on us, instead of going after criminals? Where are the tougher laws on using a gun in a crime? Where are the stricter punishments for people lying to purchase a gun?

The Gun Grabbers have the deeper pockets.

They have the Illegal Mayors against Guns, chaired and funded by Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who has recently used millions of his own dollars to push his gun grabbing campaign.

That's right. And just like we can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater, it's also illegal for me to shoot up a crowded theater. Misuse of our rights, in the 1st and 2nd Amendments is already a crime. So what's the problem?

Except for background checks for say, the (actually) mentally ill and fully automatic weapons, there is no such thing as sensible gun control. Realize that the government can't do everything for you and that you should be able to protect yourself, without the government's help.
