Depending on your budget will depend on what specs you CAN get. A dual core is ok, and the card is respectable. You can do better, but you can also do worse. It should get you 30fps on low settings on many games.

not really for modern games i would run with a amd 7870. at lowest a 7770. and i would run a quad core fx series instead of a friggen athalon.
