Whitch rod and reel should i get?!?

I am getting a new rod and reel and which one should I get?! I will be bass fishing please help and tell me about them!

I hate to burst your bubble, but both of those are poor setups. Cheaper rod and reel combos seem like a good idea, but they are far from it. You need to save up and get you a decent setup; if you opt for these cheap combos, you are going to end up spending tons more money in the long run, because these cheap setups are going to fail on you in the near future, which will lead to never ending purchases of rods and reels.

However, Abu Garcia is a fine company; you just have to pass up their cheap made in China models, like you mentioned in your question. If you want Abu Garcia, look into the Revo SX model. These reels, in my opinion, are the best reels that you will find in that price range. Yes, they are much more expensive than what you're looking at, but they will last a lifetime if you take care of them, and will be cheaper for you in the long run. An SX equipped on a decent medium heavy rod will be a very versatile setup for you.

That is my personal recommendation. If it is out of your price range, I'd suggest going with a cheaper rod, not a cheaper reel.
