Is a Chocolate Bar considered a Candy Bar?
I have a Canadian friend who for some reason believes that a Chocolate Bar isn't a Candy Bar.

Chocolate bar is what Canadians call them, even if they don't even have any chocolate.
Candy bar is what Americans call them, and so do some Canadians who have been watching too much American TV.
You can tell your Canadian friend that that's how it works. Chocolate bar and candy bar mean the same thing.Source(s): I am Canadian

Yes it is. I am Canadian and it is a candy bar. In Canada we usually call them chocolate bars, but we know that our neighbours to the south in the US call them candy bars most of the time, but they are the same thing - you can call them both.
