how should i persuade them?

okay so i got my report card yesterday and my family always expected a 90 and higher but last year, they lowered their expectations to an 85 or higher but hey im an 80 girl. so how can i show them that 80 is still a good grade and for them to lower their expectations? talking politely and stuff wont work so how? please help
