I'm a student who will use it for school work emailing surfing the web

Is that enough or should I upgrade

To

16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM

512GB Flash Storage

1st time mac buyer

I'm getting it for school my current laptop of 4 yrs has crashed & I've had many promblems with it was always bringing it o best buy geek squad heard mac was the way to go I had a Toshiba
