Is purple a feminine color?

    No, not really. Purple and dark blue are my favorite colors, and I'm a male. When dressing in purple it is important to not have too many colors at once. For example, if I have a dark purple sweater, all my other clothes will be toned down (like dark grey, grey, dark blue, brown etc).

    It is a unisex color. Neither masculine nor feminine. Think of Liz Taylor and her purple eyes, or Prince and all his purple stuff.

    Historically speaking, purple is the color of royalty. Kings wore it as a sign of power ordained by God. So, take your pick. Is power a masculine attribute?

    Typically, yes. But colors don't have to be limited to the types people that like them or how society has portrayed them as.

    It can be girly, but it's also a very elegant color for a man to wear.

    Well i'm a female and its actually my fave colour but its also a unisex colour as guys at my school wear that colour cardigans, not school uniform by the way, its their actual clothes. so yeah unisex.

    It is! but it always depends on what you wear. it can be tricky in a way of making you look matronly.

    No it's not just for girls. Guys can wear it as well as women
