How you become a game warden or other law enforcement officer depends on what agency you want to work for. Visit the websites of the agency or agencies that you might want to work for. Agency websites often provide information about their applicant requirements, about how to apply, and about their hiring process. Getting law enforcement officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. Do whatever you can to make yourself the best candidate that you can. You should consider getting a college degree if you don't have one. Getting a college degree is one of the best things that you can do. Some majors you might want to consider include Agricultural or Animal Sciences, Biology, Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife Management, and Zoology. You could consider joining the military. You could get some good experience. Also, being a veteran can help you get law enforcement officer jobs. Don't do anything illegal, maintain a good reputation, keep a good driving record, don't get bad credit, improve all of your communication skills as much as possible, and become as physically fit as you can. Some other job titles that might interest you include animal cruelty investigator, dog warden, humane law enforcement officer, park ranger, refuge law enforcement officer, and wildlife inspector. Consider local, state, and federal jobs. Best of luck!

You will want a degree in law enforcement with some kind of wildlife or environmental minor. Or you can go to Unity College and major in Conservation Law Enforcement.
