What a joke!!! That's why he's doing it!!! He sent out the big sequester boogie man, let out millions of illegal criminals out of prison and closed the White House to the kids and it nothing really happened! He and Biden has taken 8 vacations since the start of the year that have added up to millions including playing golf with Tiger when he should have been working on the sequester that he created. He used cops for props and now they are speaking out against what he did, he's loosing it and he knows it. 2014 is around the corner, he's really hoping this brilliant plan of his will work.

It doesn't matter. They are ALL over paid for what they do & here lately it seems they do less n' less every term. You are the voter. Vote them out if you have an issue w/ them. Sadly on the last round of election the country voted for most of the same trash again. I guess that's ok if you like that. Stop complaining.

Seeing as most Republicans already did this and at much higher percentages, its more Obama is following their example, only starting at 5% even though some republicans already are at 40% off. But you got to start somewhere right.

5%? what a cheap skate. Mitt Romney didn't take any pay as governor of massachusetts, and pledged not to take pay as a President, and he wasn't trying to score political points on a stupid idea he came up with..., like the president is doing. run along.

Gov. Rick Scott doesn't take any salary.
