Yes, most likely your printer is fine. Most likely the ink is dried at the holes of the printheads & is clogging it, preventing ink from coming out. This is a well known & common problem of inkjet printers, especially if you don't use them regularly. Some inkjets need to be run at least once a week to keep the ink flowing, while some others can go a few weeks, but 7 weeks is probably much too long to keep the printer in printing condition.
Take out the printheads & wipe the nozzles firmly with a tissue to try & unclog them (doesn't matter which direction, I've never had a problem). If that doesn't work, or only partially, you can try soaking them in alcohol or very warm water for about an hour or so to see if you can get the ink flowing again. If that fails, you'll need new printhead cartridges.
