Does choosing an engineering major help specifically with an Army ROTC scholarship?

I chose environmental engineering. Also, I have other things like band and clubs but my SAT's are bad (1110 with math and reading) but I have made straight A's all of high school.

For the Army it wont help you get a scholarship per say, but it will help on your OML or ranking later on in the program.

Nursing is the only major that gives an advantage for scholarship allotments.

Not really, but as long as you maintain a good GPA you should be fine. I know some idiots in rotc who have 3.5's in the easiest majors like communications that received scholarships. Anyhow, choosing that major though may help you a lot though, especially if you decide to leave the army once your service obligation is up.
