How much will it cost to get my intake manifold gasket replaced in my 4.3 v6 gmc?

It depends. Is it a Vortec with MFI or TBI? The Vortec has an upper and lower manifold that may or may not need replacing. If it is non-Vortec, it is a cast iron intake, The only person that can give you an accurate estimate would be the mechanic that is going to do the work. Stick with an ASE certified garage. You can tell because the ASE certified mechanics have a patch on their shirts saying so.

Replacing your intake manifold generally should take 4-5 hours. Whatever the shop rate is multiply it by the hours and you should know enough to know if the shop is giving you a good deal or to.
