Would you read and C/C this poem titled "Unbroken Promise"?

a promise whispered

in the dead of night

heard, but quickly forgotten

as the weight of day soaks

through feathered pillow

resignation becomes surrender

sleep soon triumphs

awaken to the sun

and a lingering thought

waiting to be brought

back to consciousness

like a sonic boom

it cracks the surface

whispered words remembered

"weeping may endure for a night,

but joy cometh in the morning."*

*Psalm 30:5
