一個英文小疑問at a time V.S. once

one time可以換成once

two times可以換成twice

You had better do one task at a time.(at one time)

變成You had better do one task at once.

at one time, at once

You had better do one task at a time.

= You had better do one task at one time.

= You had better do one task at once.

At one time this town was full of people.

I want you to do your homework at once.

Eat the cookies one at a time.

Eat all the cookies at one time.

Eat the cookies at once. I mean now!

所以像這裡的情況,表示 「同一時間」 的 「同時」 儘量用 at a time,但知道有時 at one time, at once 是可以替換的,這樣比較保險。
