Yeah I do but I have to be depressed to appreciate it. I particularly like DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal) which is really an obscure sub-genre. Here's a couple tracks:

I really like sad piano music though I know not of any specific bands that play it.

There is a band called Jawbreaker, however, which is an old "punk" or "emo" band, though I'd classify them as rock myself. They have great music, but the vocals are full of pain and the lyrics are horrifically sad.

I'd recommend their album 24 Hour Revenge Therapy, they are a really great band. Listen to Condition Oakland by Jawbreaker. Look up the lyrics. Enjoy.

I usually like it, but it depends if it's angsty teen music with cheesy lyrics or decent music.

Some examples of bands that I like that play depressing music are Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Portishead, The xx (sometimes), The Smiths, and Imogen Heap

Yes. My favorite artist is named Utsu-P. In English, that translates into Depression-P.

Some of his notable songs with depressing and dark lyrics are Wraith, Sleepwalk, THE DYING MESSAGE, and Uncensored Planet.

    BQ:

    Yuyoyuppe (Listen/read to Cry)

Utsu-P (Wraith, Sleepwalk, Potato-head in wonderland, Sky Burial, THE DYING MESSAGE, and Doll)

Rice Records (Dear Dad, Tell me the truth)

Yonaki Yasha (I'm working on translating the song "Blood" right now. It's beautiful.)

No, only a few songs that can be considered depressing are good enough for me to enjoy. When I listen to music, I want to be pumped up!
