Platform 3a is a bay platform in between 3 and 4 which is used by the 2238 to Wigan Wallgate,1013 to Stalybridge on a Friday and some services to/from Southport on a Sunday which also use Platform 0/1 and 4.
Stoke On Trent is a Category C1 Important feeder station with three platforms.
