Making a printing company go international?

Hey guys, so if you have a local printing business making the usual business cards, binders, brochures and so on, how would you make something like this more international in terms of doing business in different countries? What could we offer to attract international clients?

Paper weights a LOT ... so your shipping costs are likely to make your products 'uncompetitive' against local suppliers or international suppliers from China etc. (where they appear to get Government help by way of free shipping to the rest of the world)

You thus have to offer products are not only 'unique' but that can't be 'copied' very easily by your competitors / local suppliers - for example 'security' printing (holograms, special paper, special inks, watermarks, metallic threads, '3D' printing etc etc)
