Why does land look green from space even where there's a city?
I mean yeah, cities have some green in them, but they're mostly bluish grey

It depends from what height from space you are looking down. If you`re looking from very high, than city will be just a small speck lost in the green surroundings, but if you zoom your focus on that city to much lower level then you`ll notice that city is not green, but purplish or 'bluish gray'...try it on Google Maps satellite view, and you`ll see what I mean.
