我覺得你翻的很好, 只有幾點修正

called for..... to be 如果可以寫成 對.......求處, 比較合乎中文的寫法

所以 建議改為: 昨日檢察官對前內閣秘書長林益世求處無期徒刑

is charged with: 翻成被起訴 比較順

這( 求處 )來自這起林貪污案的最後聽證會,他因向一高雄商人索賄收受6千萬台幣被起訴

林也同時因洗錢被起訴中。
