    In Hiligaynon:

è ù ì ò à - all the vowels are short vowels and are paired with a glottal stop (a consonant sound made by halting breath or the the pause between uh-oh)

é ú í ó á - These can be long vowels, high pitch syllables, or stressed syllable.

    ñ - enye

    ê û î ô â - long vowels that are paired with a glottal stop

    ü - pronounced as a 'w'

there's also another diacritic used in the languge not found elsewhere. ng (pronounce with the syllable before) while ng with a tilde above means pronounce separately.

Actually, those are diacritical marks, and it varies by language, what they represent...and even if there were one person here, who could pronounce ALL of them accurately, we can't SAY them for you to repeat.

Of these only ö and ä are found in Finnish.

    Ö as in bird

    Ä as in bad
