I got all these parts on my cart at newegg.com. Before I buy them I want to know if they work. I'm trying to build a gaming PC because I was told the price for console games are going to sky rocket. Also what type of performance will I get out of it.

I would change several things there to get more bang for your buck.....

1. Get the Core i5 3570K instead of the i7 3770. You'll save $80 and it will perform exactly the same for games, even better if you OC it

2. Get a Caviar Black hard drive instead of the blue

3. You don't need a 750 watt PSU. A 600-650 watt Corsair will be fine

4. Yes, get the CoolerMaster 212 EVO cooler. Intel stock coolers are crap, especially if you overclock somewhat

5. You don't need 16 GB of RAM. 8 GB is more than enough

So...take some of the money you saved and pocket it, or put it into an SSD as your main hard drive. Or maybe into a higher end video card like the 670 GTX or 7970 Radeon. I have the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 board myself with my i7 2600K. And yes it is compatible
