There is no such thing as a "internet copyright law enforcement agency" so if someone contacted you claiming to be that "agency" ignore them and delete their email or letter or phone call. No such agency exists.
If you are asking if anyone has been sued for copyright law infringement then YES. People have been sued by individual companies and won against the person they sued. Usually those people are selling copyrighted products or somehow allowing others to get the items for free (such as uploading copyrighted songs to the internet). -
If you mean has anyone really be sued for copyright infringement due to internet content, the answer is yes. A lot of people and Youtube.com have been. If are asking if there is really an agency by that the name of, "Internet Copyright Law Enforcement Agency," I doubt it. Copyright law suits would be filed by the owners of the copyright, not by a law enforcement agency.

I am from Michigan and I received the same letter today saying they were suing me, but if I pay them $395 in settlement they would not pursue it any further. It is a SCAM! They had the letter registered. That makes it a Federal felony using the US Postal Service to commit Fraud and Racketeering I talked to the United Stated Copyright Office and they have NEVER heard of this "agency". If you google the address it is a VIRTUAL office that is given a "prestigious" address that sends out and accepts mail for a monthly fee. I plan on contacting the appropriate Governmental agency and getting some justice! More than likely they got your information from Facebook. NOT SEND THEM MONEY!! An Agency CANNOT sue you for copyright violations, only the ARTIST can.

You can immediately forward evidence of attempted fraud or extortion to the FBI, since there is no such "copyright law enforcement agency" and these criminals are impersonating the FBI to extort you.
