Are ultra thin condoms as safe and protective as any other condom?

My boyfriend and I used a regular condom the first time and then an ultra thin condom the 2nd time and he said he felt better and felt more with the ultra thin on. Does it work the same as any other condom or is it less protective?

As long as it doesn't break then its just as effective. I always use regular ones and the one time we used an ultra thin condom, it broke. So we just stick to regular ones
