The most notable difference between these two kinds of foods is the flavor and their taste. Mexican foods are generally very strong in their taste while Italian foods have a very weak taste. Since, I have come from India and India is known for the spices I love the strong taste of Mexican food when comparing to Italian food.
Another notable difference when we compare both these different foods is the content which gives the taste to both these foods. Some, Mexican dishes include tacos, quesadillas, pambazos, tamales, huaraches. All these food are generally spicy because they contain tomatoes, squashes, avocados, cocoa, chili and vanilla. They have a correct mix of all to give the phenomenal taste. While on the other hand Italian food includes Pizza, Spaghetti, Mozzarella, and Pasta. Their light taste and milky soft texture is because their dishes are primarily made of cheese and tomato for taste.
The health benefits of Mexican food are generally very healthy, diverse and colorful but Americanization of the food had made it very fattening and unhealthy. But Italian food is still generally considered healthy because it reduces bad cholesterol and makes the skin glow.
The only similarity between these diverse foods is that they are very delicious and take a lot of time to prepare.
I would definitely recommend trying both these foods and testing which you would like best.
