Can I start as a PFC in the navy after 4 years of college?

I've heard that if you attend a college for four years and enter the army you can start as a PFC. I want to know if that's true and if there are any other things I can do to start as a PFC in the navy. I'm in high school and I plane to join the summer after I graduate and I wana know how I can give myself a head start with this time.

I laugh, not least of which, because there are no PFCs in the Navy - only the Army and Marine Corps.

I laugh again because I don;t know why you would want to spend four years in college and then enlist to be a PFC - when you can become an Officer with a four-year degree.

I also don't get the desire to be a PFC? Why don;t you want to be a Sergeant?

Are you even aware that PFC isn't a Navy rank? PFC is Army or Marine Corps.

If you're talking about being an E3 in the Navy, that's Seaman.

Pretty safe bet that your chances of being a PFC in the Navy are ZERO!

You would start as a Seaman (E-3).
