    STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math.

    In middle school my technology class had signs for this all over. So STEM education would be using those skills put together.

    There is a big push for STEM education in K - 12 due to a prediction that this is where the majority of new jobs and careers will come from over the next 20 - 30 years.
