Despite what you heard, that Rolls with cost you a fortune to maintain in comparison to a Camry. A clutch replacement can cost over $10,000 on this car. There's a very good reason why people don't buy these extremely cheap luxury cars. The upkeep is simply to much. A BMW will seem like a gem in terms of reliability when compared to the Rolls.
In terms of your "dream" of living a life of luxury, driving this old Rolls will not help you at all. A person's wealth is not define by his/her car. Leonardo DiCaprio drives a Prius (not always of course, but he does), does this mean he doesn't have cash flowing out of his pockets? No. The way you carry yourself, the clothes you wear, the brands you wear, the way to treat money, etc. all of that factors into how people view your wealth. If you're using an old Rolls Royce to supplement your dream, you will look like a poser.
Last, I know San Francisco very well. A Rolls will be a horrible car for the city unless you're living in the Seacliff neighborhood. SF has hills almost everywhere, everywhere save the residential areas are crowded. An old Rolls is not a good choice for obvious reasons.
