Do sit-ups help you lose weight?
I'm 102 pounds (I'm 13, 5 foot 3) and trying to get down to 95. I'm trying to lose weight by sit-ups. First day, I did 500. Then 100, then 150. At this rate will I lose weight?

All exercise uses calories. A 13 year old female
who is 102 pounds
and is 5 feet and 3 inches tall has
a body mass index of 18.1,
which is at the 40th percentile,

firstly you dont need to be working out at 13, you need to let your body grow into a form, when you're about 18 its best to sort out your fat and what not,
secondly, it burn calories but if you have a massive slab of fat over it its not going anywhere,
go for a jog.
