Life is not merely about living, but( )for a reason.

    (A)live (B)living (C)to live (D)is living

Life is not merely about living, but it is about living for a reason.

Life is not merely about living, but about living for a reason.

Life is not merely about living, but living for a reason.

所以可以看成是省略 it is about, 剩下 living。 答案選 (B)

    The reason is "but".

When using "but" to connect sentences, the sentences get connected shall be equal in their function.

Life is not merely about "living", but "living" for a reason.
