Is Leonard Cohen actually religious?

His songs seem atheistic to me but he has said that he is a practicing Jew.

He's one of a few humanists who has the ability, the talent, the mysterious presence to voice what makes humans tick. I hate his politics. I love his poetry.

Well, he is Jewish and he did the most inspiring rendition of Hallelujah - which means praise Jah (or G-d).

He is a wonderful poet and songwriter. I wouldn't go so far as to call him a prophet though!
