SWOT = Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats
This is often a part of a business plan, showing up frequently in the Market Summary section but it can also be used as a standalone device to analyze your business and the competition it faces.
Strengths, Weaknesses, and Opportunities are related to your company while the "Threats" portion can refer to a physical competitor or market forces or (usually) both. You will want to put your analysis of the competition and how it affects or could affect your business negatively under the Threats section of your SWOT analysis.
