What is your favorite poem?

I'm doing a project for school that I have to find a poem to memorize, and say to the class. The poem must be 12 lines and a word minimum of 100-150 words. The poem also must relate to you in some way. I need three ideas and over the weekend my teacher will pick the best one, and i like poems about life or i anything that speaks to me. Im having a really hard time choosing poems, so what are your favorite poems? Thanks. C:

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

    by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.

    His house is in the village though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound's the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

The repetition of the last line is significant. The first time he says it, he means it literally - that he has a long way to travel before he reaches his destination. The second he means it metaphorically - that he has a long life to live before he dies.

Also note the rhyme scheme: Third line of each stanza introduces the rhyming coda of the next stanza, so it is AABA BBCB CCDC DDDD.
