Stability of an internal medicine doctor?
how stable is the job of an internist? if you could describe the factors that contribute. i am in statesville NC is it more stable sonewhere else than here? please answer thanks!

Internal medicine without a subspecialty is considered primary care that also includes Family Practice and Pediatrics. Some would also include OB/Gyn only because that's often the sole source of medical care that many women receive.
Primary care physicians have great job stability, especially in smaller cities and towns. Even in large cities you could find underserved areas.
