Can't turn on system after changing PSU.?
I'm currently running Windows 7 Professional
DDR2 Gaming RAM 2GB
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX
250 GB Hard Disk
Amd Athlon 4800+ Dual Core
After I changed the PSU the system can't turn on. The monitor starts upto acer and then turns off with orange light on. Please help.
Btw I tried to see if my PSU had any issues, I changed the PSU to old one and now I can't turn system on with old PSU either.
My friend told me, I had to remove CMOS battery and leave it for 5 hours after something like this. Please help me.

and the PSU make model and wattage is...?
has nothing to do with motherboard battery. don't remove it, you will just lose your settings.
you either have a DOA PSU, or you have an underpowered or overpowered PSU.
OH - the orange light! got it! see link.Source(s): http://johnlamansky.com/tech/the-mystery-of-the-or... http://www.antec.outervision.com/ http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp http://www.journeysystems.com/power_supply/ http://jesusnjim.com/calculators/PSU-calculators/p...
