detangler for really tangled hair?

I need a really good shampoo and a detangler for my six year olds hair..It tangles like crazy i have tried everything and have found anything that works..Does anyone know good products that really work on terrible tangles?

Try applying something like olive oil to her hair and combing it out starting from the bottom and working up to the top using a wide tooth comb. Wash it out with shampoo and comb again. To keep hair from tangling while sleeping put hair into a ponytail or braid.
