Stoke-On-Trent Train Station to Alton Towers?

Could someone please explain to me how to get from the train station to alton towers by bus? I'm planning to go sometime in April and I'm hoping the local buses will be cheaper than the ones on the Alton Towers website.

Thanks in advance :)

If I was going to Alton Towers I wouldn't be starting from there!

Seriously, the easiest way is to start by getting to Uttoxeter station. Then get bus 32A which runs every 2 hours (or every hour in peak season) which will take you inside the theme park grounds.

    Local bus information on www.traveline.org.uk

    Telephone 0871 200 2233

If there are 3 or 4 of you travelling together you might consider taking a taxi from the station

There are usually National Express coaches that go from the train station direct, you need to book a seat with them.

Go on google maps, put in the start/finish points and click on the icon for public transport. Hey presto!
