Explain jesus the son of God?

The name and title of the Son of God from the time of his anointing while on earth.

The name Jesus (Gr., I·e·sous′) corresponds to the Hebrew name Jeshua (or, in fuller form, Jehoshua), meaning “Jehovah Is Salvation.” The name itself was not unusual, many men being so named in that period. For this reason persons often added further identification, saying, “Jesus the Nazarene.” (Mr 10:47; Ac 2:22) Christ is from the Greek Khri·stos′, the equivalent of the Hebrew Ma·shi′ach (Messiah), and means “Anointed One.” Whereas the expression “anointed one” was properly applied to others before Jesus, such as Moses, Aaron, and David (Heb 11:24-26; Le 4:3; 8:12; 2Sa 22:51), the position, office, or service to which these were anointed only prefigured the superior position, office, and service of Jesus Christ. Jesus is therefore preeminently and uniquely “the Christ, the Son of the living God.”—Mt 16:16; see CHRIST; MESSIAH.

the spirit of god in flesh.

Heres why I believe in God and JEsus

    1. the big bang could not have come from nothing. What ever has a beginning has a cause, and the universe had a beginning, and the cause must be transcendent. also outside our realm of time space and matter

    2. Thanks to our outstanding discovery of the DEAD SEA SCROLLS we have been able to compare our current copies of the Old Testament, to the ancient manuscripts written on papyrus and animal skins, and have come to the conclusion that our copies have NOT been changed drastically. the only difference between the ancient manuscripts and the newer ones are grammar improvements.

    3. with that being said we now have proof that the Old Testament has not been changed over time. In the Old Testament there are many prophecies about the coming of the Messiah, which are specific claims of Jesus coming to earth.

    a few are::

Messiah would be born in Bethlehem. (Micah 5)

Messiah would be born of a virgin (isaiah 7:14) "14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.(God with us)"

He will be a desendent of David (Jeremiah 33:15-16) "“‘In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the name by which it will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.’"

Messiah's price money would be used to buy a potter's field. (Zechariah 11:12-13) [[very specific, and fulfilled]]

Also, the entire chapter of ISAIAH 53 is about JESUS himself, even the crucifixion part.

And you cant say that "oh any one could have wrirtten these General claims."

    No these claims are specific

and you cant say "They were added on later"

no, the evidence is the discovery of the dead sea scrolls. research them yourself, there is a lot of info on them.

Also there are various archaeological discoveries which back up the bible.

(atheists used to claim, Jesus never existed, Jesus was never CRUCIFIED [see sources] bethlehem never existed, they used to claim david and solomon never existed.. and many others which have been discovered in archaeology.)

    4. Personal experience, I have heard testimonies of broken bones being healed, by christians who witnessed them. also, lying about a miracle of God is called Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which is very serious.

    5. Other christians experiences [see sources]

    6. manuscript evidence of the New testament agrees with out New testament to an infintecimal degree.

    7. no other Holy Book prophecies about the future, and has the amount of evidence of it being true.

for more information, you can read my essay which is in the sources

do your own research, and research the research! Research more research of research on the bible.

Jesus is both fully God and fully human and these two dimensions are fused in one person. The intellectual coherence of christianity becomes obvious to all who take the weeks, months, or years to explore this issue. With some people conversion happens quickly and with others it is a process. Some people who are seriously ill and dying call upon Christ and are found by him. Jesus promises to find all who seek him (or let himself be found by them). If he is knocking the door of your heart and psyche why not invite him into your life. I left that until my middle years. It is incredibly exciting. Seek Christ now. Jesus will not let you down. While the historical and philosophical arguments for faith are strong it is when you come to Christ on your knees in prayer and ask him to reveal himself that life often becomes exciting.

Source(s): No experience of this life is a fraction as exciting as coming to know Christ as Lord, saviour, and guide. He gives a moral, existential, and eternal hope which no other person ever can.

Haha ,he's god's son. He came to earth to save us, and die on the cross to bare our sins and 3 days later resurrect. God is mad at us for sinning all the time but jesus dies on the cross during easter in place of us. He is the reason we are saved. He is our saviour :) he performed miracles proving he is god's son. He is the king, our king.

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!

At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!

Academia states that in the absence of any sort of evidence of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable evidence is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence.

The first person to provide a shred of verifiable evidence for God or Jesus actually existing will become world famous and mega rich!

Ain't happened yet and it never will!

In the beginning there was only YHVH. Then He became two,,, YHVH the 'Father' and YHVH the 'Son', who was the creator. They were 'echad' which means one, indicating a total harmony, but they were two separate beings. Later the Creator entered Miriam to be born the Savior YAHUSHUA. (YHVH's Salvation) You can't have salvation without YHVH's Salvation.

Jesus is not the son of God! God is one he wasn't begotten and He begots not! its just some misconcerptions. Think about it God is not like the mythical gods of Greece who had children with humans and so on! Those who say God has a son are just brain washed and confused!

In short, The Savior came so that we could have Life & Life more abundantly. The breaking of God's Commands warrants death, that is the Law. The Savior, God, Came in the flesh to pay that penalty. You didn't ask for scriptures, so I did not supply any.

Early Roman history has no mention of this mysterious "Jesus" and his dark band of brotherhood.
