Towns in north or South America that are close to forests or are surrounded by a forest?
I'm writing a novel and I need a town name. I would prefer a town that has any wolves that live in the surrounding forests. Thank you!

We can eliminate South America because there are no wolves there (no wolves south of Mexico).
So I recommend a Montana town. Wolves can be found anywhere in Montana, and are most common in forested areas. Perfect, right?
So it depends on what size town you want.
Kalispell has around 22,000 people
Better yet, just outside Kalispell is a town on a lake surrounded by forest. Check out Whitefish, Montana; population 5,900.

Duluth MN. Official forests are quite close and forest like land is pretty much there. There are wolves too.
