I have studied farts in medical books. You cannot help but to fart and you do it all day to some extent, but not enough at a time that you even notice. That's why people get body odor. That and sweating, but mostly the gas.

It comes from the food you eat being digested by the bacteria in your colon. Then they expel gas as they digest for you.

Usually, but sometimes I'll just go to an area where no one is standing and fart there...

I let them go as loud as possible. My farts must be radioactive! They rip huge holes in my undies!

it comes out, nothing i pay attention to.

i wouldn't fart in an elevator though, or anywhere else with a captive audience.

If there's enough noise around, no need to hold it. As for the smell-well, it could be anyone.
