So many excellent films had been made in that generation some of my favorite's are breakfast at tiffanys, sabrina, humorous face and easy methods to steal one million with audrey hepburn. Now voyager and all about eve starring bette davis. For those who like gene kelly singing within the rain obviously however on the town and anchors away are splendid too. Something with cary provide is effective i like the movie houseboat that he did with sophia loren its rather tacky but very sweet!! Kiss me kate, there isn't a trade like exhibit industry, bandwagon, easter parade, the sound of song pal joey are all classics from that era also

    Top Hat

    The Wizard Of Oz

Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? (A fantastic plot twist, one of my favourites)

And if you love the 1940's period, A League Of Their Own, although made in the 90's has a very authentic feel to it. The Artist is also a good watch
