Should John Kerry become Secretary of State?
A lot of veterans have for a long time wondered how it was that John Kerry so closely supported the aims of the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War.
And now this man is to become the Secretary of State for the United States??? Outrageous!!!
The fact that Kerry went to Paris and conferred with the North Vietnamese delegation, while he still had an obligation to the US Military, raises serious questions as to whether or not he could be charged with violation of Article 104 of the UCMJ. See: http://usmilitary.about.com/od/punitivearticles/a/...
Note particularly sub-paragraph 5..... and the possible penalties for infraction of article 104.
This seems to me to be just one more example of the Obama Administration's rush to take us deeper into socialism.

Kerry did not complete ONE tour of duty in Vietnam. He awarded himself three purple hearts (the only one in which he was actually wounded was a self-inflicted accidental wound) to justify an early out. He is a liar, a cheat, and a coward. And those are his best qualities. After his return from Vietnam he did whatever he could to demonize and ridicule those of us who served honorably in Vietnam. He openly worked for a Communist victory in Southeast Asia, and has NEVER expressed a moment of regret for the millions of deaths inflicted by the Communists AFTER their seizure of power in 1975.
NO...he should not hold ANY position in the US government. He hates America and will do everything he can to harm our country if he is placed in a position of power.Source(s): Vietnam vet (USAF medic 1969/70) history-buff....

Flower, If your head gets any further up your a$$ you will be looking out your own eyeballs. Study the women in the photo next to me....make damn sure you never meet her....you will loose the full package. If Kerry ever meets her brother in law the former ARVN Major will do the same to that liar.
They know what happened, they know he is a liar, they know who killed their relatives and they know the BS stories about rape and village burning are nothing but BS.
Kerry meeting with the N Vietnamese was and still is a violation of Art 104 of the UCMJ and he was still subject to the UCMJ when he met with them...max penalty is death....sorry MF deserves the Vietnamese circumcision with a rusty knife and a long stay in Leavenworth.
If you want to call someone a baby killer just track me and 1 special neighbor of mine down....we be happy to show you how a 2 X 4 can be used as a wooden pointer.

Secretary of State is not supposed to promote war as a solution to issues. Kerry served 2 tours but acknowledge when he returned the waste of life and uselessness of war. He was in a position to know the truth. He did not support the Communist North Vietnamese. He had supported the U.S. and the South Vietnamese.
Kerry went to Paris to participate in a peace treaty. He was not in the service by that time. He was useful there since he speaks French. Oh, how I wish he had won the Presidency in 2004.
You are ridiculous. You would rather have a war-monger for a diplomat? Hasnt the U.S. caused enough trauma and destruction in the world?
MEDIA BIAS: The U.S. military WERE baby killers and rapists. Thats what happens in wars. And they have done that in Iraq and Afghanistan. Read the Wikileaks Afghan or Iraq Diaries.

Absolutely not. He should have never been allowed to be a politician in the first place. He has proved himself to be a liar so is this what we want representing the USA? I say hell no. Obama has already made us the laughing stock of the world so what could Kerry add to that?

I believe Kerry would make an excellent Secretary of State. He has experience both as a soldier and an elected official. I find it a solid thought to confer with North Vietnam in order for our countries to set aside our differences and move on. That's called diplomacy and this is what the job requires.

No he should not be Secretary of State. When he came back from Viet Nam he tried to paint ALL of our soldiers as rapists and baby killers. This man is unstable and has only reached the levels he has due to his incredibly wealthy wife.
