Where to stay with 7 month old?

Can anyone recommend a villa/hotel to stay in the Canary Islands, Tenerife or lanzarote? I have a 7 month old and would need something self catering to prepare meals?

Playa Blanca in the Southern part of Lanzarote is a good family resort, mainly flat so ideal if you are pushing a pram with your baby. The resort has shops, supermarkets, family friendly restaurants, a pedestrianised main street, local bus service from one end of the resort to another which is cheap and reliable. There are also taxi's which are not expensive as each journey is metered.

At the Marina Rubicon there is a local market every Saturday and Wednesday morning. This is a lovely area to visit.

Self catering is probably your best option so that you can prepare food for your little one. If you are booking a villa, remember to ensure that it has a gated pool so that your little one can't wander out to the pool. A heated pool in the winter months is also a MUST as well as shade if you're holidaying in the summer.

Villas, apartments and hotels will provide a cot and highchair as long as you remember to order these things when you book your holiday.

Full cooking facilities are important, an oven, microwave and dishwasher (labour saving devices as you don't want to spend your valuable holiday time in the kitchen).

lanzarote1.com have several different properties on their programme.

We have stayed at the Papagayo Arena in Playa Blanca which is all inclusive = good value for money. I have seen families there with babies and noted that in the dining room there is a microwave to heat up food and the staff were more than happy to help with highchairs etc....

Puerto del Carmen is also another resort that is good for a family holiday.

Best of luck, and if you do have a holiday in Lanzarote I hope that you have a great time.

do no longer enable her upward thrust up back as quickly as you have positioned her to mattress for the evening. If she wakes up, bypass in and verify on her, yet shop the sunshine OFF. If she is hungry or thirsty feed her, in the lifeless of evening. If she desires a diaper exchange, do this, in the lifeless of evening. as quickly as all of her valid desires have been addressed, positioned her back to mattress, nevertheless in the lifeless of evening. do no longer supply her toys. do no longer turn the sunshine on. do no longer carry her out of her room. in case you like, set up a "re-settling" recurring. Rock her or sing to her for a couple of minutes. Then positioned her back to mattress and leave. enable her fuss or cry for somewhat. If she particularly scream, wait 10-quarter-hour, then bypass in and verify on her back. If she nevertheless would not choose something, lay her back off and leave back. Be very consistent approximately this, and follow it for a minimum of each week until now you % it is not working - it is going to take her a whilst to regulate to the hot recurring. you're able to desire to make being up at evening thoroughly boring and not exciting. in case you play along with her, entertain her, cuddle along with her, etc. then being up at evening is exciting and she or he would manage to stay conscious. while she learns that evening time is boring and she or he would manage to't play, she'll supply up and bypass back to sleep.
