The Llama guy is wrong it is also celebrated in Canada and the west African dispora. Kwanzaa is a celebration of African heritage. It's disliked by most people because people think it's racist. It mainly celebrates the qualities and principles we try to follow

    Kujichagalia- Self Determination

    Ujima- Cooperative Economics

    Ujamaa- Collective Work and Responsibility.

    Nia- Purpose

    Kuumba- Creativity

People think it's racist because white people don't have African Heritage and they think that they're being discriminated. The fourth of July is a lot more discriminating since the slaves weren't free just the white people were.
