Is there a law in maryland restricting how close you can protest to a state building?
I was just wondering because the WBC is going to protest at the Anne Arundel Circuit Court and Baltimore circuit court. If not could I propose a petition stating that they can't protest within lets say 500 feet or so?

Usually a large group of this sort needs to obtain a permit for the gathering. The guidelines are usually stipulated on the permit application. You do have the right to assembly, and your request for permit will likely not be denied without a really good reason. Even kkk and GLBT groups protest their causes, but they do it legally with permits. Without a permit, your group might be disbursed or even arrested. Your local police department or city hall would be where to go for the permits.
